This large 19” Victorian shade is turned down at the end and gives off a lot of light thanks to two 60w bulbs that can be put into the lamp. This makes this table lamp a good choice for serving as a major lighting source for the room it is placed in.
The shade consists of large areas divided up brown lines that are punctuated by small white inserts. When viewed as a whole these sections fit together in a large mosaic, but within each section is a stained glass design of an abstract floral pattern in yellow, gold, burgundy, white, tan and purple. The shade is constructed with copper-foiled stained glass and embellished with cabochons.
The round zink-alloy base has four legs and holds the stylized pillar which extends to the shade which is secured by a pointed fennel, which is all quite traditional for a Victorian lamp.
