Birds Double Lit Table Lamp

This is a very unusual table lamp with an oval shade; in fact it is both a sculpture and table lamp. The base is certainly out of the ordinary it is a tree branch and the shade is the leaves and flowers of the tree, as this is a flowering tree. You can actually see the tree branch from the base extend into the shade where it is made up of copper-foiled stained glass pieces.

The shade contains green leaves complete with veins and pink, tan and yellow flowers, as well as, other brown branches. The gaps in the shade are filled with white stained glass which allows the lamp to give off an adequate amount of light.

This table lamp is also a double lit lamp which means that it contains a second light to operates independently from the main light under the shade. This second light serves more as an accent light rather than a primary lighting source. Usually the second light is in the base. Like most things about this lamp the secondary light is light or should I say lights is within two stained glass birds that are perched on the tree branch that the base of the lamp provides.
